Watermelons are one of the most refreshing fruits that sometimes go to waste because they are so large.
Why don’t we make use of our leftover watermelon slices and cool down from this hot weather with a fresh and tangy summer cooler?!
I was thinking about that and looked for some frozen fruit juices, low in calories refreshing and easy to make!
So here it is!! 🙂
- 8 cups of watermelon cubes
- 1 1/2 cups of cold ginger liquid
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup of frozen lemonade (It is always there in my fridge! And I use the sweeteners while making)
To freeze for 8 hours
First step: Place watermelon cubes in a large zip plastic freezer bag, and freeze 8 hours. Then let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Second step: Process each of watermelon, ginger liquid, water, and lemonade in a blender until they become smooth.
Third step: Pour the whole mixture into a pitcher and serve immediately!
Serving size: 1 cup
Calories 118, Fat 0.3g and Fiber 1.4g, Sodium 36mg.
Note that this cooler can be prepared with other fruits!
But I prefer watermelons as all the ingredients if this cooler can be used as a detox for our body! It works well for girls suffering from cellulite!! And gives a flat belly by removing all the toxins out of your system!
